One can see how far the Greenwich High School girls soccer program has come during Friday afternoon’s Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference class LL quarterfinal game against Glastonbury High School.

After a year removed from the class LL opening round exit, Greenwich advanced to the quarterfinals against the Tomahawks Friday afternoon. No. 9 seeded Greenwich held Glastonbury scoreless until overtime, when the No. 1 team in class LL scored twice to take the 2-0 win and ended Big Red’s season.
