Man dies in Route 110 crash Thursday
A motorcyclist was killed late Thursday in a head-on crash with a pickup truck at an accident prone intersection on Route 110 in White Hills.
Shelton Police reported that Bruce Tischer, 43, of West Haven, was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital following the accident, which occurred March 18 at 10:15 p.m. on Leavenworth Road (Route 110) at the intersection of Walnut Tree Hill Road.
Police said no charges have been filed and the accident is still under investigation.Monroe Local News

The Riverhawks will be conducting tryouts for the 2010-11 travel hockey teams beginning Saturday, March 27 at The Rinks of Shelton.
The Riverhawks offer a competitive game schedule and are dedicated to developing the skills, confidence and health of young players.
Hockey players born from 1996-2004 are encouraged to participate.
